I think I already know the answer ... but I wanted to hear the opinion of others.
The situation is this: We found a home that we really like on a larger lot. The builder is top-quality. We found the proposed build through Redfin/Zillow. We did not use a Realtor. The builder is asking if we have our own Realtor, as they will pay them a commission. I am unsure if the builder will discount if we do not use a Realtor.
We should really have someone representing us during this build ... shouldn't we? Our last new construction home did not involve a Realtor ... we represented ourselves and everything worked out well.
I appreciate all advice regarding this matter. Thank you ...
