Collaboration real estate/interior design (question for agents)

Hi! I have some questions regarding how usually the collaboration goes between interior designers .

1. How often does the collaboration happen?
2. What is the objective? Physical staging, rendering?
3. How much does the service usually cost (for an average apartment)
4. If it was all an automated process would you replace the designer with the service if it’s way faster and cheaper?
