Tldr: Should I sue the seller for an improperly installed bathtub. Shower leaks causing drywall dmg + mold.
We bought a flipped house 2 months ago and quickly found some issues with the master bedroom shower. After numerous attempts at trying to fix it (rotten baseboard, mold, dry wall repair, recaulking the tub) we found out that the real issue is a leaky shower head pipe. The only way to reach this pipe and fix it would be to pull the tile. We live in a hcol area so i'm expecting the plumber to cost between 500-1000$
I'm working on getting a plumber out to the house for a quote, but is it worthwhile to sue the seller? From looking at old photos, the bathroom did not exist before the seller flipped the house.
