Feeling like longest escrow period ever

I was supposed to close on 12/18. I chose a 60 day close knowing that Covid-19 can cause delays. It had to be delayed twice already due to seller not getting CO in time, now on 12/30 I can't reach the township to try to get information on when the reinspection date is. Multiple people tied to this transaction have tried to reach them, but they haven't answered any calls or emails in the last three days.

The point is that I'm living in a dated beat up apartment in a slumlord complex and I would love to leave like yesterday. My father met someone and he married her. Her three kids are in the apartment and this place is crowded.

I'm frustrated that I have very little to no control over when the township will respond.

Question With Tricon "Pending ID".....

My wife and i, along with 2 other peopl applied to rent a house, and our application says "Approved, Pending ID". Anyone else know what that means?
