Am I correct in thinking that a lot more houses in the east coast have vinyl sidings, compared to the west coast where even inexpensive houses have wood or Hardiplank sidings? I am talking mid to lower high-end houses, typically built in the last 10-20 years. I come to this conclusion from extensive research using Redfin listings -:) If I am right is it because of the weather?
