Pool on the property I am purchasing has a rusty wall which was repaired with a patch but the rust was not really addressed.
It is continuing to rust and both another redditor and a pool store told me replacing the wall section is only slightly less than cost of replacement of whole pool.
Should I be asking for a credit for this? What is reasonable?
Deck wraps the pool 360 degrees, and I was verbally quoted at about 4-6k for full replacement.
I'm worried about safety. If the wall fails, imagine being sucked out of the pool through a rusty ragged hole.
