My 2 brothers and myself are going to be investing in a house for 2 out of the 3 of us to live in. We will all be contributing 1/3 of the initial down payment. Since only 2 of us are going to be living in the house and paying for the mortgage and increasing the equity in the house. How would we split up the return on investment for the 1 silent partner and 2 active contributors? Would it just be the overall equity contribution percentage at the time of the sale, including appreciation?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
