We are currently under contract with a home in MI - using a rural development loan.
Appraisal came back at value! (YAY! If you read my post history, we lost the last home due to a very low appraisal) It was marked as a private road and I’m not sure what happens next. The home is off of dirt roads next to a private lake and other houses. I’m trying to ease my mind that we won’t lose the house because of this. I don’t think a private road agreement is in place and from what I read it’s not required but an easement must exist..? Is this something only the sellers can provide and will it delay us greatly? We are so close to the finish line :(
