Is paying for ads/views worth it for trying to sell a house?

My family has a house we are trying to sell. It's been on the market for a little over a year. A few walk-ins but no bites, we keep reducing the price of the house like 25k every 3 months. It's not exactly the sellers market at the moment i'm told, and it's sort of an unusual house on a hill. So I was thinking in this line of work is it even worthwhile to buy ads to get traffic to the houses' zillow or redfin? If it's worth it for those that have used it, what is generally considered the best service?

Question With Tricon "Pending ID".....

My wife and i, along with 2 other peopl applied to rent a house, and our application says "Approved, Pending ID". Anyone else know what that means?
