Is it normal for my buyers agent to refuse to show me the comps?

This is my first RE transaction using an agent over an attorney.

Looking at a parcel of land that I'm fairly interested in and talked to my agent to nail down an offer price, but she came back with a number that was 90% higher than the comparable sales I could find without MLS access. When I brought up the disparity and sent my comp list, she said that I was off the mark and that her comps were more accurate. But when I asked to see the comps, she's giving me excuses to not send it over.

Is this common? Or is my gut feeling right and I need to fire her for trying to get me to over pay for a property?

The realtors like to use the phrase "one to buy; two to sell", which seems like a broad-stroke statement which is not applicable under all circumstances. And of course, the realtors don’t realize the details of my specific circumstances: I purchased and paid for the house in full prior to marriage Only my name is on the deed And most importantly, we have never lived in the house as a marit...
