buying a house with 2 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms

We're looking at a nice newer construction home, it's perfect for our needs but I'm a little worried about resale with the bathrooms. The main bedroom on the main level has an ensuite bathroom, and the three bedrooms upstairs only have one shared bathroom. It's pretty big, double vanities, water closet, but still just one. I think that's fine for our small family but this house isn't cheap and I'm worried it'll be a problem when we go to sell it in the future? The house is 3,100 sqft 4/2.5, there's a half bath on the main floor. There's also an unfinished basement that's plumbed for an additional bathroom, but there's no fixtures or anything.

My wife and i, along with 2 other peopl applied to rent a house, and our application says "Approved, Pending ID". Anyone else know what that means? Making offers on houses not listed for sale.

I want to buy a home for retirement. I am looking at lots of options, mostly focusing on the locations that appeal to me. I see lots of Zillow estimates of homes that look like great deals to me. Are these estimates accurate, even though similar houses in the same area that are for sale are usually priced much higher? If so, is it realistic for me to try to make offers to owners that do not have their homes listed? Would a realtor even consider helping me do this? Or, do these values indicate that the houses listed for sale are overpriced, and I should just lowball until someone accepts?
