Looking at buying first home, big difference in me and my partner's credit score.

I've been renting all my life and am more than ready to buy my first home. I have spent the past several years improving my financial situation and have a credit score in the "very good" range. My partner, however, has a score in the low end of "fair". How will this impact getting a home loan? I MIGHT be able to get my parents to co-sign if necessary. They have good credit and a lot of assets.

Question With Tricon "Pending ID".....

My wife and i, along with 2 other peopl applied to rent a house, and our application says "Approved, Pending ID". Anyone else know what that means?
