Anyone have any experience investing in rental properties with family? The pro would be paying down the mortgage twice as fast and rolling that over into the next house and build momentum with additional rental income. I assume the con would be potential strain on the relationship mixing money and family. My current vision is to pursue real estate investing on my own through house hacking and renting by room to maximize cash flow, but I’ve been thinking about how faster my goals of financial freedom can be achieved with a trustworthy partner. I always hear people say it’s never a good idea to go into business with a family member so I wanted to see if there were anyone with a successful experience.
