Renovating for profit.

Does anyone have any experience on buying homes and renovating strictly for profit? What are the pros and cons of doing this? Any big struggles working with renovation companies or money problems? Is there a way to tell how much actual value the renovation would add to the home and if it would actually sell or not? Please let me know any information on this as it's something i would be interesting in doing in the future. (I would personally do this in Texas or Floridia in the future if that matters)

Question With Tricon "Pending ID".....

My wife and i, along with 2 other peopl applied to rent a house, and our application says "Approved, Pending ID". Anyone else know what that means?
