How many listing agents would walk away from a listing appointment if the seller won’t accept a 6% or 5% (whatever prevailing rate in your market)?
I’ve seen research data showing 7 out of 10, would walk away.
Goes like this: Mr/Ms Seller I can a, b, c for 6%. Too much? I can do a, b for 5%. Too much? We aren’t a discount brokerage. Best of luck.
