My husband and I are buying a house in Ohio. We’re in contract. We have a preapproval. He is the only one that’s gonna be on the mortgage because I have not great credit and no income for 2021 and 2022. I did start a job this year (it just can’t count LO said) and we have a joint bank account in which both of our paychecks are deposited and bills taken out. We really don’t have a lot of debt, other than student loans and mine are much higher (another reason for me being taken off). Is that gonna be an issue at all with the underwriter?
I’m asking because I saw someone else’s post about how her ex was on her child support account and they wouldn’t count it as her income and I am an over-thinker.
