As the title suggests, I moved to Iowa from Texas, and because the city in Iowa has a terrible pet policy for renting, (no pets allowed), I pretty much had to get a house, (195k) at 6.625%, 30 year VA loan with no money down. I plan to transfer internally to a different location, and the company will actually help to sell the house, or outright buy it if it doesn't sell after a certain amount of time.
So my question is, should I continue making extra monthly payments, (currently pay 250 extra), or not bother if I plan to move? I know it's always good to pay extra but I'm not sure given my the timeline involved.
