We had a situation where lending fell through in the 11th hour due to an appraisal issue. We were granted an extension, but that lender said we may want to double submit to new lenders to make sure we are covered through the extension.
Is this an ok practice? We have already locked in with one lender. Are we not obligated to work with them if we find another better rate? Thanks!
