I'm trying to submit an offer for a new-development condo in NYC that doesn't have a certificate of occupation yet. However, my broker is requiring that I sign a sales binder. I reviewed the sales binder with my lawyer, and my lawyer recommended I do not sign the binder as it's very unclear and could potentially force a purchase.
I trust both the lawyer and the broker as they were both highly recommended by trusted friends, but really don't know what to do here. I'm leaning toward trusting my lawyer and potentially submitting an offer without my broker, but any advice would be appreciated here
