Seeking advice about importance of school rating

I’m somewhat confused regarding making a decision about which home to go for based on school rating. I noticed homes in relatively better school districts are $200k higher than similar homes in not too good areas and that difference is too high for me. I work in Northern Virginia.

I’m thinking maybe I should just suck it up and find a way to manage the mortgage but at the same time, I feel uncomfortable with that idea. This will be my first home.

How did you deal with this issue if you have kids? Thank you for your time.

Question With Tricon "Pending ID".....

My wife and i, along with 2 other peopl applied to rent a house, and our application says "Approved, Pending ID". Anyone else know what that means?
