Hypothetical situation - buying back my own home

Let's say that for some reason I come across a lot of money and I'm now a millionaire, and I wanted to buy back my childhood home no matter how much it would cost. As in, I'd pay the current owners $300K or more for a house they bought for $120K. How would I go about doing this? Do I need a realtor to do this? Has anyone been in a situation like this before?

Question With Tricon "Pending ID".....

My wife and i, along with 2 other peopl applied to rent a house, and our application says "Approved, Pending ID". Anyone else know what that means?
