Is it shady if the seller doesn't want me to do an inspection ?

First time home buyer and I put in an offer for a Condo.

However, my agent told me that the seller asked if I wanted an inspection.

Mentioned that If I proceed it could delay the process or discourage the seller.

Is is shady if the seller doesn't agree to an inspection ?
