My husband and I are suppose to close on a house in 2 weeks. We signed off on inspection, hoa packet, etc. Contract is contingent on financing (we are approved).
I just found out my husband has been having an affair. I have hard indisputable evidence (the woman’s husband sent me screen shots). He doesn’t know that I know, but I plan on confronting him once I get my ducks in a row.
As for the house, I want to back out and file for divorce. I don’t care if we lose the deposit, but I don’t want to be sued by the seller (a realtor), my realtor or any of the finance people.
Can I back out? And if so should I say family problems as the reason? I can not afford this house on my own.
