We have been looking as houses with our buyers agent the last couple months and they have been great. A top local agent and have been very knowledgeable and helpful. While looking at a house we casually mentioned at we would love it if a home popped up in this specific community that we love. They mentioned that they actually had a listing coming to market in the next couple weeks in that area and after describing the house and driving by it, we strongly think this could be our house.
We are knowledgeable buyers and very aware of current market dynamics and comps so I am not so worried that they cannot negotiate much for me as we would offer a fair price and if they don't accept, move on. If we get our own home inspector, are there any major things to watch out for? In this situation, is there a bad idea or can it be navigated well. Im sure if we asked for another agent they would support that but at the same time, they have been fantastic and don't feel the urge to do so.
Thanks for the input!
