I've been working with a realtor for a couple of months now. We get along well. I won't go into details, but I offered on a new construction property, then canceled...twice. It was just too expensive, and I felt pressured by the builder, overwhelmed by both buying and selling costs and logistics, and something just didn't feel right about the property/deal. (I have anxiety, which makes everything more emotionally complicated than it needs to be.)
After all this, I told my realtor I wanted to stop the search and stay put...but I keep checking listings. If something else comes on the market that meets my criteria, do I go back to the same agent? I signed a buyer's agreement when I made the first offer, so I think I am contractually obligated to use her again? Would she even want to work with me? Do I ask to cancel the agreement and start fresh with a new agent? How do I handle this mess I've made gracefully?
