I don’t know anything about real estate. I’ve tried to educate myself by googling things but I just get confused and there’s a lot I still don’t understand. My parents own several investment properties & I know I will someday have inheritance. (They have communicated this). They are also getting older and they manage their rentals themselves. I would like to educate myself on what you need to know as a landlord, but also about owning a home and real estate in general. Can anyone recommend any books or classes I can take? Would taking the course needed for a real estate license be helpful? (I don’t plan to be an agent, but would taking the courses be helpful or informative?) I would like to purchase a home on my own soon, as well as be knowledgeable to help manage their properties for them as they get older, and be prepared to take over when I receive inheritance. Thanks in advance!
