Selling property in Turkey - information on international real estate companies

I have a property in Turkey that I would like to sell and being quite an amateur at anything real estate I'm wondering if anyone knows how real estate agencies that sell properties in Turkey in GDP work?

There are Turkish real estate companies that sell homes as well and I'm curious as to whether the reason for these companies is related to citizenship/property laws.

There's a drop in house sales currently due to the economic/political situation and as summer's around the corner. Does anyone have any foresight on house sales in Turkey, the trends, what to look out for etc?

  • The house is in a tourist summer location so it is one to be appealing to tourists/non-locals.

Any advice/who to ask even if its not directly related would be greatly appreciated!

My wife and i, along with 2 other peopl applied to rent a house, and our application says "Approved, Pending ID". Anyone else know what that means?
