I really don’t know if this is a dumb question or not, but I’m just getting into the world of home inspections/real estate and don’t know how to accurately figure out the answer to this. (Trying to decide if pursuing a career as an inspector is worth it during the current state of the world and country)
I know that the housing market would obviously be affected since people will likely be evacuating conflict zones and seek refuge in other areas of the country. There’s also people leaving the country as a whole, rentals, etc. Conflict zone home inspectors would I guess be the first to fall off, but what about the ones in safe zones?
I don’t think house hunters would care much about the condition of a home they buy as long as they are safe, but I could be wrong, and the majority could still be trying to make as many financially smart decisions as they possibly could. There could also be other factors that I am not taking into consideration that could actually be beneficial for home inspectors. Thoughts?
TLDR: How would a war affect home inspectors in the US? Specifically the ones in safe areas AWAY from conflict zones.
