After a few exchanges with my realtor and a seller's agent, I'm starting to realize that certain agencies are colluding and the process is not so fair. The seller's agent knows our offer, we believe they had someone else from their office submit a competing offer and did not submit our offer. We requested proof seller saw our offer and that's when things started getting weird.
To protect everyone's identity, I won't go into details but if you're in the market for a house, take the extra steps to ensure it's a fair process.
