I am curious to hear from anyone willing to share how much over/under their appraisals came in and if the builder were willing to negotiate down on the price if they appraised under. Obviously, they don't have any reason to and they wouldn't ask you to pay a higher price on the appraisal, but we are in different market conditions now and I am wondering if builders are just looking to close on the homes.
I am projected to close in January 2023 and we have not gotten our appraisal done yet.
