A little background information…We sold our home in September of last year. We just received a Property Tax bill for the entire year and it still lists us as the owner. The amount we owed in taxes was prorated by title company in our closing sheet at closing and listed as “adjustments unpaid by seller”. Will this be an easy fix or will it require jumping through a lot of hoops? And also, who should I call first to correct this issue: the realtor, title company or tax collector?
