So I'm very, VERY much just trying to get some basic information and start feeling out he home-buying process. No line of credit yet, no prospects, just questions and learning.
One thing I know is that homes with a recent death associated tend to be sold cheaper, especially if the death was gruesome and/or well known in the community. Usually nothing about the actual house was made worse off, people just avoid it cuz they think it's creepy.
What are some other intangibles about a home that will scare off buyers or lower the price without actually lowering the real value or quality of the property?
Thanks for reading and any insights.
