Maybe I can get some insight on this sub because I've basically given up trying to get a home and I'm seriously starting to despise every fucking realtor on earth. I understand that they need to be cautious when renting to people, if someone has had two evictions, several repos, or substantial debt they have yet to pay off then yeah, you probably should not rent to them, I understand realtors need to make money too and they can't take charity cases or they would be homeless as well, however when someone lost their home over some bullshit one time but spent 3 years to get their life back on track, get their credit score up to 700, work the same job making 22 an hour for 3 years and offer to pay double the deposite just to have someone say "No evictions, no exceptions, sorry" I seriously just want to slam their fucking head into a wall until their head evaporates. Arrogant, self centered, morally corrupt pieces of shit. I made one mistake and have worked my ass off and have proved im no longer "Risky" and can pay my Bill's on time but because of that one eviction I have to live in an apartment for the rest of my life now.
So any insight as to why it is like this would be great. Because every single one I've talked to has said the same thing to me. It wasn't just a few.
